,,ARMENIAN TERRITORIAL DEVELOPMENT FUND” WORKING GROUP VISIT TO SHIRAK REGION

The working group of “Armenian Territorial Development Fund” in the lead of Sargis Baghinyan, the director made a visit to Shirak region.

Apart from water reservoirs construction, drinking water supply and irrigation systems modification, schools and kindergartens are built and reconstructed by the  Foundation commission.

The first stop of the working group was, Artik basic school N-2” that is built by RA Government and “Asian Development Bank” co-financing. The school is meant for 432 schoolchildren. Apart from cozy classrooms, the building will have adjusted laboratories, acting and dining halls. Following the work process, the foundation director gave solutions to issues raised by builders on the site. Sargis Baghinyan exhorted constructors to pay a strict attention to the construction works quality and set deadlines, involving extra work labor in order to avoid overdue deadlines since there are no issues pertaining to financing.

Next stop was Azatan secondary school. By the Foundation commission, here the ex-school building is being constructed together with a completely new score-building where internal furnishing works are in pipelines currently. Works are implemented by RA Government and “Asian Development Fund” co-financing. The Foundation director Sargis Baghinyan gave a solution to constructers raised issues as well. Technical supervisors and constructors were exhorted to strictly follow works quality involving new labor force in order to complete works on timely manner.

The working group made a visit to town Gyumri “Zangak” kindergarten and Horom settlement kindergarten afterwards, being built by RA Government and World Bank co-financing. kindergartens construction works are nearly completed and in near future buildings will be operated. Each kindergarten is meant for 75 children.
